The Arizona Health Sciences Library abides by the National Interlibrary Loan Code. If you are not with a library, please submit your requests for articles through LoansomeDoc or contact your local library. Below is more information about our Interlibrary Loan policies and procedures that may be helpful:

Submitting requests
We accept requests through OCLC (AZA), Docline (AZUARI), ALA, fax and email. No phone requests accepted; although a phone call notifying us that rush requests have been sent will help us meet your deadline. Rush fees are not charged in the case of patient care emergencies.

Shipping methods
US Postal Service 1st class mail is used for returnables. Federal Express can be used if you provide your account number or credit card. Non-returnables can be sent via Ariel, fax, email (PDF or tiff), USPS 1st class mail, or they may be posted to a website for retrieval.

Non-circulating items
Special Collections, Reference or Reserve materials do not circulate. Although current journals do not circulate, those older than 10 years may circulate.

Foreign libraries
We provide service to non-North American libraries. Returnables are sent via Airmail and the charge is $30.00. Non-returnables can be sent via Ariel, fax, email (PDF or tiff), airmail or posted to a website for retrieval. The charge is $11.00. Additional charges may be assessed as listed below.

Payment
For Docline requests, EFTS is the preferred payment. For OCLC requests, IFM is preferred. Monthly invoices are sent for all other filled requests. Our FEIN is 86-600-4791. We accept checks, money orders, Visa or MasterCard in payment of invoices. All billing questions should be directed to (520)626-2928.
