The Arizona Health Sciences Library
(AHSL) is a resource library within the National Library
of Medicine's National Network of Libraries of Medicine (NN/LM).
To order article copies from AHSL,
use Loansome
Doc the fee-based document delivery service of the NLM. Loansome Doc requires that you first
go through a simple registration
process in which you will be asked to
select a supplying library, that
is, the library through which your requests will be processed.
You may select AHSL as your supplying library

Below are the charges for one article delivered from AHSL or referred to another library. When you order an article,
you must decide whether you want to have your request forwarded
to another library if AHSL cannot supply it or have the
request cancelled at that point. To determine if a journal
is in the AHSL collection, you may browse the journal holdings
in the library catalog.
There is a special discounted rate
for Loansome Doc users who register for an AHSL Community Card and pay the annual fee of $60.00.

- 2. Complete and submit the Community or Corporate registration
form
- 3. Pay annual fee of $60.00 by cash, check or credit card
for a Community Card.
- 4. Or, pay annual fee of $500.00 by cash, check or credit
card for a Corporate Card.

AHSL will deliver your articles by mail, fax or email (PDF document). Turnaround time from
receipt to shipment is 24 to 48 hours if the material is in
the AHSL collection. Rush service is also available for an
additional $10.00 per item. |

Prior to filling the first request, individuals are required
to provide AHSL with a Visa or MasterCard credit card number
for payment. You are advised to provide this sensitive information
by fax or phone. All future requests will be charged against this credit
card account and you will be sent a monthly statement of
transactions and charges. Libraries and nonprofit organizations
will be sent monthly invoices.
If you agree to abide by the above terms and conditions,
please call or email the Document
Delivery/Interlibrary Loan office and you will be given the
AHSL Library Identifier to complete your Loansome Doc registration. |

Due to the increased processing time required by requests
received via mail, email or fax, turnaround time is slower.
There is also an additional $5.00 processing charge per request,
except in cases where the item cannot be ordered via Loansome Doc.
